In the external audit conducted by the representatives of Certification International (CI) last November 29, 2016, SSIS takes pride in having zero non-conformances (NCs).
The audit is part of the certification process of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for educational institutions, a world renowned standard of quality and excellence. The certification is only renewed by the CI if the school can show its adherence to ISO procedures during the rigorous audit.
Having no NCs means that SSIS has a functional system and foolproof set of procedures that are being implemented and followed by the management, teachers, and staff. It also means that there is coherence with what is inked out and what is being practiced by the institution’s workforce.
To achieve a no NC status, the internal auditors regularly conduct a semi-annual audit of the teachers and staff. They personally question and assess the auditee’s knowledge of the quality policy, compliance with work instructions, and observance of procedures. Any deviation is immediately addressed and resolved before the external audit begins.
SSIS has been ISO certified since 2005. Every year after that, the school always comes out with a clean bill of health.
